Refund Policy

Payments for evot.io are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our Merchant of Record. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.

Monthly subscriptions

A billing period's credits are granted in full when the period starts, not released day by day. So what you've received from us is measured by the credits you've spent, not by the days that have passed — and that's how we work out a refund. If you haven't spent any credits or used any paid-plan feature since the charge, you can request a refund within 14 days and we return the full amount you paid, with no deduction. If you've spent some of them, we refund the share of the payment matching the credits you haven't used. If you've spent them all, the period's service has been delivered in full and there's nothing left to refund. You can cancel at any time instead, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. The Free plan comes with monthly credits so you can try the core workflow — cells, logs, and Vot replies — before you pay. Image generation, routines, AI Pulse, MCP, and Computer Use are paid features.

Credit top-ups

If you haven't spent any of the credits you bought, you can request a refund within 14 days of the purchase and we return the full amount you paid, with no deduction. Once you start spending them the credits have been delivered, so that purchase isn't refundable. Purchased credits never expire, so there's no rush to use them.

What happens after a refund

When a payment is returned to you — as a refund, a cancellation, or a chargeback — the credits that payment granted are removed from your balance. For a partial refund that's the credits you hadn't used, which is what the refund was calculated from; if the whole payment is returned, it's all of them. For subscription refunds your plan returns to Free straight away, and we cancel the subscription as part of processing the refund. If a renewal is charged after that anyway, email us and we'll return it in full. You're welcome to subscribe again at any time.

If a payment doesn't reach your account

If a payment succeeds but your plan or credits don't arrive, that's on us. We refund it in full with no deduction, and it doesn't count towards the one-refund-per-account limit below. Email us and we'll sort it out — you don't need to dispute the charge with your bank.

If the service is down

If we don't warn you first and the service is unavailable for three days or more, or for more than 72 hours in total within a month, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of the period. For shorter unannounced outages of four hours or more, we extend your period free of charge by three times the time you lost — or, where extending isn't possible, credit your account with the equivalent value. If we do announce maintenance in advance and it still runs more than ten hours, we make up the excess the same way. Outages caused by events outside our control or by something on your side aren't counted. If we end your plan for a reason that's our fault, we refund the unused part of the period plus a further 10% of that amount.

Limits

Throughout this policy, using a plan means you've spent credits or used a paid-plan feature — routines, AI Pulse, MCP, Computer Use, image generation, or web collection — including anything run with your own API key, which doesn't draw on credits. Time passing on its own isn't use. The 14-day window in the sections above still runs, though, and how much comes back depends on what you bought. That window doesn't apply to the two cases where the fault is ours: a payment that never reached your account, and an outage. Outside statutory withdrawal rights, we refund one payment per account. Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles, multiple accounts, and other attempts to work around plan limits are grounds for declining a refund and suspending the account. Earned credits — for example your share of Vot Hub subscriptions — are never refundable, and we may reverse earned credits that came from a payment which was later refunded or charged back. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, we refund the full amount you paid, with no deduction. If you're in the EEA or the UK and withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, you pay only a proportionate amount for the period already supplied, and we refund the rest.

How to request a refund

Email us with the address on your account. We process refunds within three business days of receiving the request. Polar Software, Inc. is our Merchant of Record, so the refund is issued by Polar back to your original payment method and can take a few more days to appear on your statement.
